Privacy Policy

01Information We Collect

Agon collects the following data to provide its core running and racing features:

• Location: GPS coordinates during active runs to map your route and track distance, pace, and elevation. While recording, Agon may continue location updates if you lock your screen or switch apps (iOS shows a blue indicator). We do not track your location outside active recordings.
• Health & Fitness: Heart rate, calories, distance, and workout data from Apple HealthKit, used to record workouts and calculate training metrics.
• User Identity: A unique identifier to associate your runs and race data with your account across devices via iCloud.
• Photos: Images you optionally upload for club posts or profile content.

02How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Track and record your runs with GPS routes, pace, and elevation
• Provide real-time race tracking against virtual contenders
• Sync your run history and race data across your devices via iCloud
• Display your training load, heart rate zones, and fitness metrics
• Enable community features such as challenges, events, races and clubs

03Data Storage & Sync

Agon uses Apple's CloudKit (iCloud) to store and sync your data. Your data is subject to Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy.

Some data remains on your device. Agon does not send your data to any third-party servers or analytics services.

04Data Sharing

Agon does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

If you participate in community features, your display name and run performance data may be visible to other participants within those features.

05Community Safety

Agon includes tools to report abusive content or users from club posts and member profiles. Reports are reviewed by the Agon team.

06Tracking & Advertising

Agon does not track you across other apps or websites. Agon does not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) and does not display ads.

07Data Retention & Deletion

Your run data is stored in your iCloud account for as long as you keep it. You can delete individual runs from the Activity tab at any time.

To delete your Agon account and associated data, use Settings > Privacy Controls > Delete My Account within the app.

You can also remove Agon data from iCloud via Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Agon.

08Children's Privacy

Agon is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

09Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and will be available within the app.
